Ladies Motorcycle Boots
The key features to look for in a pair of womens or ladies motorcycle boots are a solid build, enough flexibility to allow reasonably comfortable walking, and zips or velcro straps to allow easy fitting and removal. Along with these factors, there are secondary features that often come on more expensive boots such as ventilation and attachment straps for securing the boots to your motorcycle trousers. Here are three things to look out for when buying a pair of ladies motorcycle boots:
1 - A comfortable fit
The primary purpose of motorcycle boots is safety, but this doesn't mean that safety and comfort are mutually exclusive. Often, the opposite is completely true. Safety and protection begin with making sure that your foot is well secured inside the boot, and is tight enough to prevent the boot from coming loose or undone in a crash. Check any boots you buy to make sure that your ankle and foot can't move easily within the boot.

2 - Simple and robust construction
While many riders are comfortable in shoes and work boots, they are taking large risks by riding in such thin and poorly protective footwear. One of the most important factors to look for in a pair of riding boots is their construction quality. How many separate pieces of leather are they made from? Are there any small stitches or joins that could cause the boot to come apart? Is the sole adequately built and well connected to the rest of the boot? Ask these questions before you buy so that your boots don't end up coming apart three months down the line.
3 - Ease of fitting, and adequate ventilation
Make sure your pair of boots is easy to fit, whether over your jeans or under your current pair of motorcycle trousers. This often means looking for a pair of boots that don't flare out unnecessarily at the top of the ankle. Also, be sure to look for any ventilation in the boots, if you're in a hot climate zone. While it's not a necessity, having breathable boots is a nice comfort on a hot day.
