On the inner sides of the boots, internal plastic reinforcement has been covered by the thick stamped suede to heat resistance and increased grip. This helps the rider when encountering hot gases and heat from the motorcycle's engine. The buckles are made from high-impact resistant injected techno-polymer, adding to the overall safety and durability of Tech Boots.
They are a little expensive, but are absolutely irreplaceable for a safe ride. An extended gaiter prevents water entry into Tech Boots. In some types there are rubber gear-changing panels and a removable insole. For even more protection, a reinforced leather plate runs along rear of the boot. Overall, Tech Boots are great and have an excellent finish and a retro looking sole. The lug design provides good traction considered irreplaceable.
